The Chapel is 2500 square feet of historic charm. This building is very unique and is reminiscent of days past when cotton was king in the South with its original wheels and belts, still fixed along the roof line once powering the gin itself. The brick and mortar walls add character and make this building very unique. The shutters can be opened or closed in the event of inclement weather. It includes 200 black Chiavari chairs as well as an antique credenza in the entrance that can be used for the guest book, programs, floral, etc. While this space is not temperature controlled it does have a LARGE fan to keep air circulating and guests comfortable on those warm southern days. Three large crystal chandeliers along with wall sconces along the sides of the building and track lighting at the front illuminate the altar area.
This space can also be used for a small reception, party, or for cocktail hour when ceremonies are on the lawn or offsite. Prosperity and downtown Newberry have beautiful churches if your church is not located nearby. |
The Garden is surrounded by a 10’ wooden privacy fence with evergreen shrubs and trees lining its edge. This space is conveniently located between the chapel and reception hall and will make a beautiful space for first looks, as well as couple and family photos away from guest distractions.
